It features Faroudja's DCDi (Directional Correlational Deinterlacing) video processing, which helps to eliminate jagged edges that appear with progressive-scan displays for a smoother picture. In addition to DVD movie and CD audio discs, this player is compatible with DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and CD-R/RW disc formats as well as MP3/WMA audio files burned to disc.
