scans with great accuracy and legibility. use for shipping documents, even duplicates and triplicates scan extremely well. Stopped using all in one HP scanner/printer & use this one instead.

Works extremely well, the OCR leaves errors, but not too many. Its portability is excellent, and the fact that it can be put aside standing means the desktop is clear.

The software this comes with doesn't allow you to save as a pdf, which is generally what anyone scanning documents wants. I had to call tech support, who didn't know how to save as a pdf. They suggested looking at Adobe software or 3rd party software. Why would I want to buy a scanner and then have to buy additional software on top of that?
